| Some of you may have noticed that I have been limping around and unable to stand for long period of time. I’m not entirely sure what happened, but perhaps stress and overworking. I’ve tried to keep it to myself, as I have been a much more reserved person as of late.
I recently had a MRI and what my old doctor once thought was inflammation of the lower back, is really a vertebra which has shifted into my spinal cord, which is the primary reason as to why I am in pain. My L2 and L1 vertebra specifically pushing into a set of nerves, which while I feel better than a month ago, a lingering and piercing pain still remains.
So I have been recommended that I have spine surgery.
As this point, I am going to see a neurosurgeon tomorrow, and discuss the procedure, and the recovery, as surgery is my only option now. The sooner I can get this done, the less chance that I will have lasting effects, I have been unable to do the even most common tasks. Talking to the surgeon’s coordinator, depending on the severity of the damage in my back, I would be out of action for a month or two.
Thanks,
Andrew Lee. |
